Welcome to Government Secondary School.org

E-mail Print PDF

I am delighted to welcome you to the Government Secondary School website, a project that has been long in conception. The project received a new lease of life with the efforts of a young, driven and dynamic Nigerian, Oluwakorede Asuni, who is completing his National Youth Service with us as a Mathematics teacher at the Senior Secoundary School Two(2) level.
The site is concieved to among others present our school to a world wide audience, serve as an information sharing tool for our students and staff and to aggregate information for the consumption of our students and staff (teachers and non-teaching staff).I enjoin you to put this site to good use, so the efforts of the young man and the many staff who assisted in birthing this dream will be justified.
I wish you all the very best.

Rev. Father J. D. O'Connell,Principal

                                                 THIS LIFE

           This life is a mirage,

hidden in the waves of shadows,

           confusing to the flaring eyes,

can slip out on a little notice,

therefore we hold it with earnest.

My eyes are heavy
and rich with sleep
but pen and paper
robbed me off
with their bare hands
rendering slaps of joy
